Install the Non Return Valve in the correct flow direction as indicated by an arrow on the valve body. Ensure proper sealing with appropriate thread sealant (e.g., PTFE tape) to prevent leaks. Typically installed on the discharge side of pumps, in suction lines to prevent loss of prime, or in irrigation sub-mains. Regular inspection for debris or wear is recommended.
