The Gi End Cap 2.5 Inch is an essential component for any robust agricultural or irrigation piping network. Crafted from high-quality galvanized iron, this end cap offers exceptional durability and resistance to corrosion, making it ideal for the demanding conditions often found in farming environments. Its 2.5-inch threaded design ensures a secure and leak-proof connection, effectively sealing off the end of a pipe to prevent water loss, contamination, or entry of unwanted materials. Perfect for temporary or permanent pipe closures, this GI end cap is a reliable choice for maintaining the integrity and efficiency of your water distribution systems.
Ensure the pipe end is clean and free of debris. Apply thread sealant (e.g., PTFE tape or pipe dope) to the male threads of the end cap. Hand-tighten the end cap onto the pipe, then use a wrench to tighten further until a secure, leak-proof seal is achieved. Do not overtighten to avoid damaging threads.
Do not use for applications exceeding the pressure rating of galvanized iron fittings. Ensure proper thread engagement to prevent leaks. Avoid excessive force during tightening to prevent stripping threads or cracking the fitting.
When selecting an end cap, consider the material (Galvanized Iron for durability and corrosion resistance), the size (2.5 inches for compatibility with your piping system), and the type of connection (threaded for secure sealing). Ensure it meets the pressure requirements of your irrigation system.
Galvanized iron pipe fittings are generally subject to standard import duties and taxes. Ensure proper classification under HS Code 7307.92 for smooth customs clearance.
Importers should verify local regulations regarding the import of galvanized iron products. Ensure compliance with quality standards and any specific certifications required for agricultural use in Pakistan.
Exporters must adhere to international shipping regulations and packaging standards for metal pipe fittings. Provide accurate documentation, including country of origin and material specifications, to facilitate export procedures.
