The DPC Polythene 13 Inch 06 Gauge is a versatile and durable polythene film designed for a variety of applications in both agriculture and construction. Its 13-inch width makes it suitable for specific tasks requiring a narrower barrier, while the 06 gauge thickness ensures robust protection against moisture, dampness, and other environmental factors. In agriculture, it can be used for lining seedbeds, creating temporary shelters, protecting equipment, or as a moisture barrier in various farming practices. For construction, it serves as an effective damp proof course, preventing rising damp in walls and floors, and can also be used for general covering and protection of materials on site. This polythene is manufactured to high standards, offering excellent tear resistance and longevity, making it a cost-effective solution for your protection needs.
For agricultural use, lay the polythene flat on prepared ground for seedbed lining, or drape over crops/equipment for protection. Ensure edges are secured to prevent wind uplift. For construction, place as a damp proof course between masonry layers or under concrete slabs. Overlap seams by at least 150mm (6 inches) and seal with appropriate tape if required. Handle with care to avoid punctures.
Keep away from open flames and high heat sources. Not suitable for direct exposure to prolonged UV radiation without proper UV stabilization (check product specifications). Dispose of responsibly according to local regulations. Keep out of reach of children.
